This game is way too good! Now I'm suuuper intrigued by the story and stuff. Currently replaying some things to try new routes, but I've been having a good time so far!
Music, absolutely awesome! Every track is fitting for the scene, giving creeps or showing the realization from characters mind. Amazing!
The visuals... damn, hold my beer. Every charcter is such an eyecandy, designes are striking and rememberful. I love the ditail that Cain eyes glow red in some scenes. Not hes eyes like Robbies, but pupils, hinting that is something wrong with him. There is such a hard work have been done. What do you mean you drawed a different art pieces that changes regarding on the choise of dialogue??? You couldve not done that, but you did, and its a such a great detail. <3
About the choises. Making them not a simple - 'what would you do' but a personal traits that Bint learns through our playthrough is such a creative thing. I litteraly cant remember such thing from anywhere!
The writing is awesome too! The turns out of events, personalities and mysteries is such a treasure. Writed by a genius, i pressume.
And the horror part, the first horror novel game that actually. can be scary! (Shocking, but its a rare thing nowadays).
Thank you and thank you thousands times for such a great project! Please im very recommend to make this game paid. Through all my playthrough i got that shame feeling that im playing such a thing for free. T-T
Is there a guide to play game cuz apparently 91.2% completion, my OCD ass cannot handle that shi, Also I need a guide to all possible endings, it's sad to say I always choose sympathy on choices cuz I'm a good person :3
I know, I js found it out Xd, anyways do u have ideas on mixing thoughts cuz apparently I've done like a all of the combination but my choices hasn't been increased
Hey just wanted to pop in and say I played the demo on Steam and loved it! I was recommended it through a friend and the game was wonderful. For my first visual novel it made an excellent impression.
I'm probably not qualified but I think all of the elements came together cohesively. The music was great to listen to while spamming all of the reflection combinations. I'm not sure if there's an area to download the tracks separately already but I would gladly pay for them to support the devs.
The art style alone was major factor to picking up the game. I can't say exactly what it is but it's aesthetically pleasing so good job!
What I also really enjoyed was the story (y'know the main thing here.) [Spoilers below.]
The parallel stories of Bint and the person looking into his memories is a very interesting narrative choice. Throughout chapter you gain little tidbits of the mystery-man's motivations while in the computer sections which break up Bint's story. The folders on the PC and the conversations of long past allows the reader to piece together a vague picture of the Bio-Corp we're investigating. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing the spy's comments on the computer's files but not giving the reader the full picture, only building the intrigue further.
Now I read all of the files the first time we had access to them and you would not believe my shock when Robbie mentioned he was a micro-biologist; most likely the same one who was fired from the company and had his memory wiped like the file mentioned. We were even given a log of Robbie's conversation with his therapist giving more context. I'm pretty sure you can even find Robbie on the ex-employees list.
This was the perfect use of the parallel stories. It makes piecing together information that much more satisfying.
Bint's personal story was also really well done. The reflection mechanic really allows you to get in his head while giving the reader glimpses into his past. The few twists so far have me hooked for more chapters and I'm chomping at the bit to find out what's next. Also the Disco-Elysium styled choices really make this game stand out from the rest and paired with the reflection feature really make this game unique!
This isn't even mentioning the horror aspects which scared the bejesus out of me. I dig the 4th dimensional horror thing the creature has going on and by god the jumpscares (when I noticed the eyes staring at me from behind the dialogue box I nearly pissed myself.)
The computer puzzles... definitely shook up the gameplay. I didn't have too much trouble with them but that may have been down to a hefty dose of luck.
All in all, amazing work from your whole team. Hopefully the development goes smoothly for the future chapters,
New version𓀠new version𓀋new version𓀀new version𓀙🤤🤤🤤
After all,the story really leaves me a deep impression.I can't wait to see the new story about them! When the story of the past is completed, maybe we can join the story from Bint's perspective, not the hacker's?Though seems like all the stories of them were completed before the hacker's view...
And,the art style is just like a blend of Japanese and Western influences?I'm not sure.I like it so much😋
By the way,I'm not a Native English speaker,so maybe there's something wrong with grammer, don't mind it~
Maybe this game isn't for me. The presentation and style is fantastic, maybe the strongest I've seen in a VN, but I couldn't get into the writing. I was intrigued by the unexplained elements, but the first narrative "hook"/horror moment fell flat to me. I think because it showed too much of it hand, and didn't leave much room for the imagination That's why the unexplained elements gripped me more than this setpiece.
I hear there's twists, but I stopped at the first number puzzle and didn't feel hooked enough to continue.
That being said there's clearly a lot of work on display, and the mechanics are very strong, so kudos and good luck on the project!
This is really goes in my top-tier list visual novel. Gorgeous art, unique concept, also the god-tier puzzles and surprisingly, i was so intrigued about story that it keeps me away from being bored or sleepy and decides to skip everything. I was impressed!
I really like the card-thing option than your standard sentence option, make you wonder what is the outcome if choose the first card.
I want EP 2 😫😫😫
Edit 1: ive been stuck in bint's thought puzzle. Ive been trying every thought combination but cant get every traits (especially wit and perception). In bints convo with her young sis, you can actually get analysis and smart but not both (or is it).... Tho im running out of option, where to look at or where did i miss it?
Nvm ep 2, i want to look at the true ending before i can move on!! 😫
Edit 2: lol, i finally reach the end, tho i want to spoil but its not my cup of tea to spill everything... Tho im only 99.9% which is its not totally 100% (probably i f i get both perception and wit trait but im not sure if thats it)
Tho (i dont think its a spoil but just a tiny bit) im thinking cain is either "the monster" or the mad scientist researcher, or just some psychopath supernatural investigator. But really, i need to know what is this "monster", what its purpose, why they created it and what for? and why bint specifically and whats special about him, why him?
I'm very glad you liked our game! But I'm not sure I can answer all those questions here. I recommend joining our Discord server. I can give detailed answers to any questions about the endings and the plot there. I can only tell you now that there is no 100% ending in the game and no way to get all the traits simultaneously
Activity before crash: was reading the first mind fragment I found and after reading it for 52 seconds and scrolling down the bottom, the game crashed.
Other notable stuffs spotted:
- it eats through a ton of processing power due to the verbose use of animation and objects, I suggest considering the use of object and asset scalability (a toggle option to adjust quality)
- Autosave features are disabled. I am not sure if this is intentional but it would be nice to have certain spots in the game where it autosaves (y'know... Coz It took me 10min in the number game and the redo now would be frustrating XD)
Player comments:
The game is outstanding. It definitely revived my noggin again after not being used properly for... Idk 4 years? (college years).
The mini games are witty and I LOVE how y'all used base programming stuffs as games like the linked list "hacking" mini game, and the graphs for the "chain of thoughts"
The animations, albeit a tad heavy are very pleasant. I rarely see furry VNs use fluid easing, tweens, masterful asset masking (the talky character bits), angles and proportions, and a comic esque storytelling. They might get two or three but you nailed it all and it brought happiness to me haha
I could learn a ton of stuffs from y'all if I get a good chunk of time to study how you guys created this masterpiece from programming and arts, to storytelling and execution. I'd be hands down going and studying if y'all ever would come and invite peeps to watch your development process.
But truly, my only gripe is really just the autosaves not being available. Hooooooo it was fun tiring my mind off in chaining thoughts and numbers but it's not nice to redo it all over again hahaha.
If you've read this (developer or not), thank you for reading it. I hope my report and thoughts would help
Thank you for playing our game and for your detailed analysis!
Regarding autosaves and the "back" button, we deliberately chose to omit them. When a game has more complex mechanics and animations, these features become a near-endless source of bugs and issues with the Ren'Py engine.
As for optimization, you're right. We haven't fully figured out the best way to optimize most things yet. This is also compounded by the fact that we targeted an increased resolution of 2640 x 1440 (instead of standard Full HD) from the start, aiming for better quality
I suggest considering making your assets into vector pieces rather than raster (instead of PNG or WebM, try SVG)
These can be programmatically scaled in resolution so your players can scale it down as low as 144p to as high as 4k hd. I recall there's a phyton extension that allows you to use SVG ang tweak it
Having a ton of object instances at once no matter the resolution is ram draining (referring to the thoughts synthesis) specially if they are animated individually (I can see them swaying individually)I suggest instead of animating the instances, try the background instead.
Also thank you for hearing me out
I understand the part why there's no AS and back (they are hell to maintain XD)
Just curious, is one of your game's inspirations the scp foundation? Cause your monster would fit very well in one of their files, and how the files are organized in the computer, it gives me the scp vibes
If this was real life and I was Bint. Oh boy, I'll die immediately I saw the monster. Made so many horrible decisions that'll lead a bad end and spoiler warning
MY GUT FEELING WAS RIGHT THE ENTIRE TIME THE MOMENT I MET CAIN. The fact when he was first introduced, the way he hesitated to introduce himself (using ellipses) immediately made me suspicious of him. I don't trust him, fully but I made the decision to call him (my logical thinking says that I want answers but my heart says to get the fuck away from him). And the door decision, I closed the door... Leaving Robbie unable to save me when Cain takes out his gun
Still, I love the horror element in this game. It doesn't reveal much with the spy but it's a good concept to introduce with the mechanics of the game
Thank you so much for playing our game! And good job guessing the plot! We love it when players build theories, especially when they turn out to be right.
Incredible game, I found myself staring in open awe (and sometimes a little genuine terror) at the screen on more than on occasion. I haven't gotten all the endings yet, but MAN what I've seen so far has me so excited to comb through every bit of this game.
Incredible work, really good stuff here. Also Mr. Red Tie please return my calls, please pleas-
Hi! Sorry about that. Can you tell us which version did you download and what platform you tried to install it on? And if there's any kind of error, you could send it to us on our Discord server too and we'll try to help you :]
Finally got the 99.99% ending! The game was awesome! The story and plot got me hooked. Robbie is such a chill guy, love him, Cain tho, at first I liked him cuz he was kinda cute but as the story progressed he became more scary. I still don't know what Bint commented on those posts cuz of the bug tho, a little bummed about that even if it's a minor thing. Anyway, this was an amazing story, can't wait for the next part.
Thank you so much! Yeah, unfortunately, this is a bug in the Ren'Py engine, and it's going to be quite difficult for us to fix, almost completely redoing the system related to scrolling the phone :c But we will fix it anyway~ All the lines in the game are fully translated, it's just that Ren'Py sometimes decides not to show them, completely at random.

Holy FUCK this game is really good I like it ;)
Where to begin...
Writed by a genius, i pressume.

u gonna hate this but the most u can get is 99.9% completion...
I know, I js found it out Xd, anyways do u have ideas on mixing thoughts cuz apparently I've done like a all of the combination but my choices hasn't been increased
im on the same boat as yours :( 99.9% is max
At most, you can get all of them except on the 2nd reflection. You can either get Wits (analysis thought) or Perception (insight thought)
I see, imma try it out
played the steam demo… and holy peak, this is good.
I really like the main menu/true ending music. Is it public?
Hey just wanted to pop in and say I played the demo on Steam and loved it! I was recommended it through a friend and the game was wonderful. For my first visual novel it made an excellent impression.

Listen
I HATE horror
I get scared very easily
But this... I gave this game a try, and I loved every second of it.
Amazing experience. Can't wait for the future chapters!
I have not played this but try reconnected. They do have gore over there but it's 'only' in writing.
Thx for the recommendation
Gonna give it a go later
HOLY SHIT IT'S JUST LIKE DISCO ELYSIUM!!!!!! OH MY GOD THEY EVEN GOT PERCEPTION!!!!!! IT'S JUST LIKE THE HIT GAME DISCO ELYSIUM!!!!!!!
The game is soo GOOD, I really like the twist of mechanics like traits and puzzles. I can't wait to see how the story will unfold in the future.
The best game I've played in a long time! I absolutely love the mechanics of the mind and emotions!
OMG ITS SO GOOODDD😭😭😭
下有中文_(:з」∠)_
I will stick to the game like a ghost😈

I just finished EP1 and dear god I loved it all, I even went ahead and looked through all the different endings possible (though not all the traits)
now I have only one request, PLEASE GOVE BINT A HAPPY ENDING, I BEG OF YOU I DONT THINK I CAN HANDLE IT IF SOMTHING BAD HAPPENS TO HIM.
I'm glad you liked our game~
We'll do our best not to disappoint everyone with the future story in the game

Yeah, maybe this game just isn't for you. Sorry about that
Is Nsfw?
No~
it's so joever 😔
Not all furry games about sex, man)
The real monster was the number puzzles we met along the way (I've got dyscalculia )
Yeah, sorry about that...

Wasn't expecting actual horror and consequences for mine actions. On one hand I'm afraid to continue on the other hand I'm in way to deep to stop XD
I recommend you keep playing.
The game will likely seem less scary later in the story, and it will be worth it :з

I discovered this game through a friend's recommendation, I DON'T REGRET PLAYING IT
the character design,The art style, the story, everything in this game is perfect especially the jumpscare
I'm excited to see the second episode😁
(Sorry for bad English)
Thank you so much for playing our game, and please pass our thanks on to your friend for recommending it to you! :3
Is there an install guide? I tried to play it but it just crashes whenever I open it.
Hi! Sorry about that. Can you tell us which version did you download and what platform you tried to install it on? And if there's any kind of error, you could send it to us on our Discord server too and we'll try to help you :]
